Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, is a performing-arts complex run by NOL theater. Concerts, showcases and fan meetings use 우리WON뱅킹홀 (Woori WON Banking Hall), with 1,379 seats or about 2,400 standing; 우리은행홀 (Woori Bank Hall), with 1,766 seats, is mainly for musicals. The English hall names here are our translation, and older listings may still use earlier hall names.

Seats & views

Stage layout differs for every show, so check the seat map on the ticket page before you choose. How to read Korean seat labels

Woori WON Banking Hall

10 tips
  • It is a small hall: fans say even the back of the standing floor feels close (one fan at the back of zone B needed no binoculars), and from the 2nd floor the whole stage is clearly visible. Several sources[2][3][4][5]
  • The 2nd floor has a good rise between rows and comfortable seats, and many fans prefer it to the back of the 1st floor. Bring binoculars from about row 9 back if you want to see facial expressions. Several sources[3][4][5][6]
How sections are numbered

Capacity by stage setup (approx.)

Seated (official): 998 on the 1st floor + 381 on the 2nd1,379 [1]
Standing (official): 1st floor only, 2nd floor stays seatedup to 2,400 standing (2,000 recommended) + 381 seats [1]

The same venue holds very different numbers depending on how the stage is built. These are official figures and reported examples, not the seat count for your show.

How sections are numbered

Two audience levels underground. The 1st floor is flat and uses movable seats, so it can be seated or standing; you enter it from B3F. Seated, it has three front blocks of about 17 rows and two rear blocks of about 8 rows, which ticket maps letter A–E (fans place B at the centre front, A and C at the front sides, D and E at the back). Standing zones are lettered per show. The 2nd floor has fixed, tiered seats in three blocks that ticket sites call X, Y and Z, entered from B1F; its first row is numbered row 4.

Good spots 1 tips
  • 2nd-floor rows start at row 4, so row 4 is the front row. Its railing does not block the view; one seat at the far end (row 4, seat 45) loses a stage corner when you lean back. Several sources[1][3][5]
Cautions 4 tips
  • The 1st floor is flat, whether seated or standing, so your view depends on the height of the people in front of you. Short fans say they could barely see when wedged in mid-standing, and often move back toward a fence instead. Several sources[4][7]
  • The rear part of the floor (seated blocks D/E; standing zones C/D at some shows) sits under the 2nd-floor overhang. Fans call it enclosed or 'lidded' and prefer the front blocks or the 2nd floor. Fans also report the rear area is slightly raised compared with the front. Several sources[2][7][8][9][10]
  • Standing entry is by ticket number at some shows and first-come at others; check your show's notice. Once inside, you must stay in your assigned zone, but within it you can stand anywhere, including moving back. Several sources[2][7][11][12]
  • From mid-2nd floor (row 7) you can make out faces but not expressions. One report[3]
Entrances & access 1 tips
  • Hangangjin Station (Line 6): the underground passage between Exits 2 and 3 leads directly to Blue Square, about 1-3 minutes. The concert hall is the separate wing at the end of the passage. Floor-level (1st-floor) audiences enter on B3F, 2nd-floor audiences on B1F, and the ticket box is on LF. Several sources[11][12][13]
Facilities 2 tips
  • Lockers are in the B1F and B3F lobbies. They are free for 2 hours for same-day ticket holders, then ₩1,000/₩2,000/₩3,000 per hour (small/medium/large), credit card only. They are open from lobby opening until 20 minutes after the show, with limited space that can run out on busy days. Several sources[1][11][12][13]
  • Only capped water is allowed in the seating area. The 10 wheelchair spaces are at the back of the 2nd floor and are booked by phone (1544-1591). One report[1][11]

These are the latest trains in any direction; many end before central Seoul. Use the table above for your hotel area.

Latest departures on the Saturday / Sunday/holiday timetable. Times are from the Seoul Metro timetable and are estimates; check the station on the night.

Plan B: taxi. After a big show taxis near the gate are hard to get — walk a few streets away first, or set the destination in a taxi app (Kakao T, Uber). A late-night surcharge applies.

On the Saturday and Sunday/holiday timetable, the last trains from Hangangjin leave between 23:18 and 23:57, depending on the direction and how far you are going.

Hangangjin is on Line 6, which runs west through Itaewon and Samgakji to Gongdeok and east towards Yaksu. Line 6 doesn't go to Gangnam, so check where you need to change; the box above shows the last departures each way.

The one show we have tracked here starts at 17:00 and 18:00. Listed running time: 2 h.

These are timetable figures, not live data. Trains after a big show are packed, so check the station board on the night.
