Trip Q&A
What you can bring and where to leave it: Korean venues
What you can bring into a Korean concert is almost always set by the organiser for each show. The big venues, such as KSPO DOME, Gocheok Sky Dome and INSPIRE Arena, publish no venue rules on bag size or cameras (checked October 2026). Only a few, such as YES24 LIVE HALL and BLUESQUARE, publish house rules. This page covers rules that often appear in show notices, what we know about each venue, and where to leave big luggage.
Rules that often appear in show notices
Item rules are in the notes on the ticket page or the official notice. Here are 2026 examples; each applies only to that show, so check the notice for yours.
- BTS (Goyang Stadium, April 2026, outdoor): bag and security checks may take place at the entrance; no eating or drinking inside; bottles, fireworks, lasers and other dangerous items, pets, bouquets and balloons restricted; staff may stop oversized slogans or throwing things at the stage; no umbrellas or parasols in the seating areas (NOL ticket page)
- BTS (Gwanghwamun Square, March 2026, free outdoor show): no bags A3 or larger and no suitcases, metal detectors; only water up to 500 ml and lightsticks; cameras including GoPros, tablets, laptops, selfie sticks, tripods, long umbrellas, stick banners and balloons banned (news reports)
- Jannabi (KSPO DOME, October 2026): large professional cameras and filming gear banned; every ticket holder got an official lightstick free (Ticketlink notice)
- MyK FESTA (KINTEX, June 2026): professional cameras not allowed in the seating area, to be left at the KINTEX baggage storage (organiser notice)
Filming rules are in photo rules, and the full list of what to pack is in packing list.
KSPO DOME, Olympic Hall, Ticketlink Live Arena
- None of the three venues lists audience item rules on its official page; check each show's notice
- Olympic Park's Peace Plaza information centre rents paid coin lockers and power banks, but only during its hours (9am–7pm, closed 12–1pm), so you cannot collect bags there after an evening show. This is a park facility, not a cloakroom inside the venues
- NOL World's venue page points to the lockers at Olympic Park Station (about 7 minutes from Exit 4)
- Some organisers run their own bag storage. NOL's checklist for a Stray Kids show at KSPO DOME gave drop-off from 4 hours before to 30 minutes after the start, pickup until 1 hour after the end, KRW 5,000 cash only (that show only)
- The box office usually opens about 1 hour 30 minutes before the show, and ticket pickup starts then (Olympic Park FAQ)
Gocheok Sky Dome
- The official FAQ's item rules are for baseball (PET drinks up to 1 litre allowed, no glass, and so on) and say events may restrict them. For concerts, follow the show notice
- NOL's checklist for a G-DRAGON show said light snacks and capped water were allowed
- The dome is non-smoking; smoking booths are outside
- NOL World's venue page says the venue has lockers (no number or price given) and that Guil, Gaebong and Guro stations have lockers too
INSPIRE Arena (Incheon)
- We could not confirm official venue rules on bags, cameras, food or lockers
- NOL World's venue page says "lockers available, varies by event", but an older NOL guide (September 2024) said there was no dedicated bag storage. If you come straight from the airport, check the show notice for bag storage
KINTEX (Goyang)
- KINTEX's official page lists coin lockers next to each entrance of Halls 1–4 (Exhibition Center 1) and near Hall 6, near Hall 10 and in the 2F central lobby (Exhibition Center 2). Small KRW 1,000, medium 2,000, large 3,000, during hall opening hours
- At MyK FESTA 2026, attendees were told to leave professional cameras at the KINTEX baggage storage
Jangchung Arena
- The official FAQ (2016) allows light food only in the 2nd-floor stands and bans soups, strong-smelling food and alcohol; the 1st-floor floor bans all food and drink to protect the wooden floor. Events may differ
- The whole building is non-smoking. There is a convenience store and snack bar on 1F and a coffee shop on 2F
YES24 LIVE HALL
- No food or drink except bottled water up to 500 ml. The whole venue is non-smoking
- About 400 paid coin lockers. The 1F cafeteria opens 4 hours before the show and closes 30 minutes after it ends
- Seat views and reported locker prices are on the YES24 LIVE HALL venue page
BLUESQUARE
- Only capped water in the seating area. Food or bouquets that could bother others with noise or smell go into a locker before the show
- Lockers are in the B1F and B3F lobbies of Woori WON Banking Hall and the B1F lobby of Woori Bank Hall: free for 2 hours with a same-day ticket, then charged by the hour (credit card only), and limited in number
- All filming and recording without prior agreement is banned
Where to leave a suitcase
- T-Locker (또타라커): Seoul subway station lockers in 273 stations. The 4-hour base fee is KRW 2,200 / 3,300 / 4,400 (small / medium / large) on weekdays and 3,100 / 4,600 / 6,100 at weekends, plus an hourly charge after that. Open 5am to midnight every day; nothing can be stored or collected outside those hours (Seoul Metro, as of April 2026)
- T-Locker works with the app or with a QR code and one-time password; the operator's site is multilingual
- T-Luggage (또타러기지): staffed storage and same-day delivery at Seoul Station, Hongik Univ., Jamsil, Suseo, Myeong-dong, Gimpo Airport and Jongno 3-ga stations, 10am–10pm daily. Prices are from a March 2025 Seoul city article and may have changed
- At Incheon Airport, Hanjin Express counters in Terminals 1 and 2 offer storage and delivery
Venue lockers are few, and some cannot be reached after an evening show. The surest option is to drop your luggage at the hotel first.
What we could not find
For KSPO DOME, Ticketlink Live Arena, Olympic Hall, Gocheok Sky Dome (concerts), INSPIRE Arena, KINTEX, Jangchung Arena and KBS Arena we found no official venue rule on bag size, camera lenses, power banks, slogan or banner size, or re-entry. Organisers set these for each show.
FAQ
Can I bring a power bank?
We found no official ban at Korean venues. NOL's show checklists suggest bringing one, and the Olympic Park information centre rents them (9am–7pm).
Can I bring my suitcase to the venue?
Do not count on a cloakroom unless the show notice mentions one. Station T-Lockers (5am–midnight), T-Luggage or your hotel are safer. A big outdoor show has banned suitcases outright (Gwanghwamun, March 2026).
Can I bring a lightstick and a slogan?
Lightsticks are allowed at most shows, and one show handed an official lightstick to everyone (Jannabi, October 2026). One notice said staff may stop oversized slogans (BTS, April 2026); we found no official size limit.
