YES24 LIVE HALL

Seoul · 3 shows

Last checked: 15 October 2026

YES24 LIVE HALL in Gwangjin-gu opened in 2006 as AX-Korea, which the venue describes as Korea's first dedicated concert hall. Many shows here are standing: the operator's rental rules cap standing capacity at 1,700, and some shows put seats on the floor instead.

Seats & views

Stage layout differs for every show, so check the seat map on the ticket page before you choose. How to read Korean seat labels

YES24 LIVE HALL

12 tips
  • The 2nd floor (X/Y/Z, 337 fixed tiered seats) looks down on the whole stage, so your view does not depend on the height of people in front. One reviewer found even the 2F back row closer to the stage than the 1F back row. Several sources[4][5][6][7][8]
  • The 2F side blocks X and Z curve slightly toward the stage (the map makes the balcony look straight), and one reviewer found the 2F side seats better than expected. Another rated the main-stage view from X row 3 only 'average'. One report[6][9]
How sections are numbered

Capacity by stage setup (approx.)

1st-floor standing, official maximum1,700 [1]
Standing show: 1st-floor standing + 337 seats on the 2nd floor (sum of the official seat maps)2,037 [2]
Seated show: 714 seats on the 1st floor + 337 on the 2nd (sum of the official seat maps)1,051 [3]

The same venue holds very different numbers depending on how the stage is built. These are official figures and reported examples, not the seat count for your show.

How sections are numbered

The 1st floor is a flat floor in front of the stage. At standing shows it is split into zones A (front left) and B (front right), with C and D behind them on either side of the sound desk; you go in by the entry number on your ticket, not by seat. At seated shows the 1st floor has blocks A, B and C at the front and D and E at the back. The 2nd floor is a fixed balcony at the back with blocks X (left), Y (centre) and Z (right), seven rows each, in both layouts. Zone sizes and the layout change from show to show.

Good spots 1 tips
  • Standing zones C and D (behind A/B, either side of the sound console) sit on a slightly raised step with a fence in front. Fans suggest the front of C/D over the back of A/B, especially for shorter people. Several sources[4][10]
Cautions 3 tips
  • 2F row 1 has a safety railing in front that partly blocks the view (reported for Y row 1); fans often pick rows 2-7. Seat reviewers in X1, Y1, Y2 and Z4 also tagged the railing, though most still rated the main stage view good. Several sources[6][7][11][12][13][14][15]
  • Standing zones A and B (front) are flat, so what you see depends on the people in front; moving back in A/B gets more crowded and more blocked. Zone sizes also change per show (official maximum ~700 each; one fan counted ~530 per zone at another show). Several sources[2][4][10][16]
  • The back of 2F tends to be warm while spots near the 1F cold-air vents can be chilly, so bring a light layer. On 2F some seats may hear doubled vocals or boomy bass depending on the setup; 1F sound is described as fine. One report[4][17]
Entrances & access 2 tips
  • Standing entry goes by the entry number on your ticket, not a seat number. Staff call the numbers in blocks (about 100 at a time with A/B first, per one fan guide); if you arrive after your number has been called, it no longer counts and you join the back of the line. Several sources[4][7][18]
  • From Gwangnaru Station (Line 5) Exit 2, walk about 400 m (5 min) toward Gwangjin Bridge; the hall is not visible from the exit, so check a map. There is no audience parking, and parking at the Gwangjin-gu Sports Center next door is prohibited. Several sources[17][18][19][20][21]
Facilities 4 tips
  • In winter the entry queue waits inside the building (at one 2024 show, one queue was on 1F and the other on 2F). Fans with early A/B numbers had time to use the indoor lockers before going in. Several sources[4][18]
  • About 400 paid coin lockers (official). Recent reports: small 1,000 won / large 2,000 won using 500-won coins, another fan recalls 2,000/3,000 won; a 2024 visitor found a note-changing machine but rejected crumpled notes and had a broken locker - bring 500-won coins and clean notes. Several sources[4][10][18][20]
  • Toilets inside the hall can only be used after you enter, and standing fans cannot leave their spot easily, so go beforehand; one fan describes the toilets as very small. One report[4][10][17]
  • No food or drink may be brought in except bottled water up to 500 ml (PET); the whole venue is non-smoking. The cafeteria opens 4 hours before the show and closes 30 minutes after it ends. One report[20]

Latest departures on the Saturday / Sunday/holiday timetable. Times are from the Seoul Metro timetable and are estimates; check the station on the night.

Plan B: taxi. After a big show taxis near the gate are hard to get — walk a few streets away first, or set the destination in a taxi app (Kakao T, Uber). A late-night surcharge applies.

On the weekday timetable, the last trains from Gwangnaru leave between Next day 00:09 and Next day 00:47, depending on the direction and how far you are going. On the Saturday and Sunday/holiday timetable, the last trains from Gwangnaru leave between 23:33 and Next day 00:01, depending on the direction and how far you are going.

Gwangnaru is on Line 5 only. Westbound trains run through Gunja and Wangsimni towards central Seoul; eastbound, the line splits at Gangdong for Macheon and for Hanam Geomdansan. In the box above, note that the last westbound train to Gunja leaves later than the last one that goes on through central Seoul.

Of the 3 shows we have tracked here, the start times were 16:00, 17:00, 18:00 and 19:00. Listed running time: 2 h.
