Gocheok Sky Dome

Seoul · 3 shows

Last checked: 15 October 2026

Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu is Seoul's domed baseball stadium, with 16,601 seats in baseball layout, which makes it one of the biggest K-pop venues in the city. How many fit for a concert depends on the stage layout.

Seats & views

Stage layout differs for every show, so check the seat map on the ticket page before you choose. How to read Korean seat labels

Gocheok Sky Dome

15 tips
  • 2nd-floor front rows, especially toward the sides of the stage, are the most recommended seats for a balance of distance and full-stage view. Many of them go to invitation seats, so they are hard to get. Several sources[4][5]
  • With the usual end-stage setup, 1st-floor side seats are often closer to the stage than 1st-floor center seats, and you can watch without relying on the screens. This depends on where the stage is placed for each show. Several sources[4][5]
How sections are numbered

Capacity by stage setup (approx.)

Concert maximum, with floor seats or standingabout 25,000 [1]
Stage at one end, sold-out concert (EXO, October 2015)about 22,000 [2]
Fan meeting (BTS, November 2016)about 19,000 per show [3]

The same venue holds very different numbers depending on how the stage is built. These are official figures and reported examples, not the seat count for your show.

How sections are numbered

Gocheok uses its baseball section numbers: three digits, where the first digit generally gives the floor (for example 105 on the 1st floor and 402 on the 4th). Table seats T1–T12 are in the infield on the 1st and 2nd floors. Ground (floor) blocks are named by each promoter, so their labels change from tour to tour.

Good spots 2 tips
  • 3rd floor feels far, but front rows give a decent overall view of the staging; expect to watch faces on the screens. It is often called the value option. Several sources[4][5]
  • Some productions add moving stages or long runways that travel close to the 2nd-4th floors (EXO did this in 2015), which helps upper seats - check each show's stage map. One report[2]
Cautions 6 tips
  • Ground (floor) standing is the closest to the stage, but the floor is flat: shorter fans or anyone behind tall people may see little, and when artists move away you may only see their backs or the screens. Several sources[4][5]
  • 4th floor is the top level and very far from the stage (upper seats can be 100 m+ from center stage); performers look tiny, so bring binoculars. The front row of the 4th floor still sees the whole stage. Several sources[4][6][7][8]
  • The 3rd and 4th floor stands are steep with narrow stairs; railings were raised in 2016 but people with a fear of heights may feel dizzy. Wear flat shoes and hold the rail. Several sources[2][3][6][9][10]
  • Restricted-view seats are mostly at the back of the 3rd and 4th floors, where stage gear or lighting can block part of the stage; guides advise avoiding 3rd/4th-floor center-rear seats if you have a choice. Exact blocked areas change with each show's stage design. Several sources[4][5]
  • It is a baseball stadium: protective netting in front of some seats (reportedly upper outfield/corner areas) can stay up during concerts and partly cut across the view. Whether it is removed varies by show. Several sources[7][11]
  • Rows are tight and long, so getting out mid-show is hard when full. If you expect toilet trips, pick an aisle seat. Several sources[3][10][12]
Entrances & access 4 tips
  • Nearest subway is Guil Station (Line 1), Exit 2, about 3 minutes on foot. Express trains do not stop at Guil, so take a regular Line 1 train. Several sources[6][11][13]
  • The station-side path brings you to the 2nd-floor outfield entrance. Infield (1st/3rd-base side) seats need a longer walk, and outfield and infield stands are not connected, so allow extra time to reach your section. Several sources[10][13][14]
  • After a sold-out show Guil Station is packed (waits of 40-60 minutes are reported). Walking 15-20 minutes to Gaebong or Guro Station, or waiting 20-30 minutes before leaving, is usually faster. Several sources[6][7][11]
  • On-site parking is small (under 500 spaces) and leaving after a concert takes a long time; the operator advises public transport. Several sources[8][15][16]
Facilities 1 tips
  • Coin lockers exist at Guil, Gaebong and Guro stations; reports on in-venue lockers conflict, so do not count on storing a large bag inside. One report[11]

The nearest station is Guil (Line 1), about 3 minutes on foot (operator's directions).

The operator's directions say to take Line 1 to Guil Station and use Exit 2; the dome is about 150 m straight ahead, roughly 3 minutes. To avoid the crowd at Guil, it suggests getting off at Guro Station (Exit 2, about 20 minutes on foot) if you come from central Seoul or Suwon/Anyang, and at Gaebong Station (Exit 2, about 15 minutes) if you come from Incheon or Bucheon. From Sindorim (Lines 1 and 2), take Exit 1 or 5 and ride a bus three stops.

These are the latest trains in any direction; many end before central Seoul. Use the table above for your hotel area.

Latest departures on the Saturday / Sunday/holiday timetable. Times are from the Seoul Metro timetable and are estimates; check the station on the night.

Plan B: taxi. After a big show taxis near the gate are hard to get — walk a few streets away first, or set the destination in a taxi app (Kakao T, Uber). A late-night surcharge applies.

On the Saturday and Sunday/holiday timetable, the last trains from Guil leave between 23:10 and Next day 00:19, depending on the direction and how far you are going.

All three nearby stations are on Line 1, which here runs on Korail tracks. If Guil is packed after the show, walking to Guro or Gaebong, the stations the operator suggests for arriving, is the alternative. Guro is also where Line 1 splits for Incheon and for Suwon, so check your train's destination.

Of the 3 shows we have tracked here, the start times were 17:00 and 18:00. Listed running times: 3 h, 4 h 30 min.

These are timetable figures, not live data. Trains after a big show are packed, so check the station board on the night.
