Trip Q&A
Where to eat after the show: finding food open late near Seoul's main venues
Three things decide where you eat after a show: when it ends, whether there is a busy area near the venue, and how long you have before the last train. Going by the listed running times, most shows in our calendar end between 7 and 9 pm on Saturdays, around 5 to 7 pm on Sundays and between 9 and 11 pm on weekday evenings, and encores or staggered exits make it later (October 2026). This page does not recommend particular restaurants or opening hours; it shows how to find food late at night.
What time does the show end?
End time is roughly start time plus running time. The table below is calculated from the start times of the shows in our calendar and the running times listed on KOPIS (the Korea Performing Arts Box Office Information System). Some shows add encores or let blocks leave one at a time, so expect to leave the venue later than this.
When shows in our calendar end (start time + listed running time)
| Day | Most common end | Performances with a listed running time |
|---|---|---|
| Saturday | 20:00 (27) · 19:30 (10) · 21:00 (4) | 59 |
| Sunday | 19:00 (14) · 17:00 (6) · 18:30 (5) | 41 |
| Mon–Fri | 22:00 (4) · 18:30 (1) · 21:15 (1) | 7 |
Start time plus the running time listed on KOPIS (the Korea Performing Arts Box Office Information System). Encores and staggered exits are not included, so you usually leave the venue later than this.
If your last train home is early, it is safer to head back towards your hotel first and eat there. Leave-by times for each venue are in last trains after concerts.
Where you might eat near each venue
The table lists the busy areas near each venue from our venue data and the food streets in Korea Tourism Organization data. The busy areas come from Seoul card-sales data, so they show where locals go out rather than tourist spots. Neither guarantees anything is open late, so check opening hours before you go.

Busy areas: the Seoul open-data estimate of card sales by commercial district (Seoul only), nearest top-50 districts within 3.5 km. Food streets: Korea Tourism Organization (TourAPI) spots near the venue. Neither says which shops are open late; check opening hours on a map app before you go.
Notes by venue
- Olympic Park (KSPO DOME, Olympic Hall and others): the nearest busy areas are around Cheonho and Jamsil stations, both more than 2 km away. The Jamsil area includes Bangi-dong Mukja Alley.
- Jangchung Arena: Korea Tourism Organization data lists Jangchung-dong Jokbal Alley and the Sindang-dong tteokbokki street. Of these five venues, it is the one with a busy area closest by (around Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, about 800 m).
- Gocheok Sky Dome: the nearest busy areas (Gasan Digital Complex, Mullae) are both more than 2.5 km away. Heading back towards your hotel and looking there is more realistic than walking.
- KINTEX: outside Seoul (Goyang, Gyeonggi-do), so not covered by the card-sales data. Korea Tourism Organization data lists Ilsan Daehwa-dong Meokja Alley about 1.3 km away.
- INSPIRE Arena: inside a resort on Yeongjong Island, home of Incheon Airport, with almost nothing in our nearby data. The resort's official restaurant guide (checked 17 October 2026) lists dinner until midnight at Hi-Fi Korean Soul Food and MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill in Aurora (Level 2), last order 11:30 pm, and Aurora Bar until midnight (food last order 11 pm). Hours can change, so check the resort's guide on the day.
Convenience stores (CU, GS25, 7-Eleven)
Convenience stores are the easiest late-night option, but not every store is open 24 hours. CU's official store finder has a 24시간 (24 hours) filter, along with filters for stores selling 튀김 (fried food) and 베이커리 (bakery items). It helps to look up the stores near your hotel in advance.
Eating at your hotel: delivery apps
You can also catch your train first and order delivery to your hotel. Use your hotel's address, and ask the front desk how they handle deliveries.
Shuttle (English delivery app)
According to its official App Store listing, Shuttle is a delivery app for foreigners: you order in English and live-chat support is in English. You sign up with just an email address, no Korean phone number needed, and pay with international or Korean credit cards, PayPal or KakaoPay. The app also comes in other languages, but menus are in English and Korean only. Which restaurants deliver depends on the area, so enter your address on the official site to check.
Baemin
Baemin is a Korean delivery app. A Newsis report of August 2026, citing the operator, says it supports English, Chinese and Japanese and accepts overseas payment methods, and that foreigners can order without signing up after SMS verification of an overseas phone number. Since 2 June 2026, Apple Pay on Baemin also accepts credit cards issued abroad (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, American Express) (Digital Daily, May 2026). Make sure your phone can receive SMS, for example with roaming.
FAQ
Are there 24-hour restaurants?
Some places stay open all night, but this page does not check individual opening hours. Filter by 영업중 (open now) on NAVER Map and check the closing time.
What if eating means missing the last train?
Put getting home first. A convenience store near your hotel or a delivery app lets you eat without worrying about the train. See last trains after concerts.
I am worried about ordering
Phrases such as "Can we still eat now?" and "What time do you close?" are in Korean phrases for concert day.
Can I use a foreign card on delivery apps?
Shuttle accepts international credit cards and PayPal (official App Store listing). Baemin is reported to accept overseas payment methods. Check the payment screen before you order.
